RAIDER SPOTLIGHT

 

On the Raider Track & Field team, we take pride in recognizing the outstanding achievements and dedication of our track & field athletes and coaches through our "Raider Spotlight”. Whenever these special moments occur, we will shine a light on these athletes and coaches who exemplify excellence both on and off the track. This spotlight will highlight many things including:

 

**Fantastic Performances**

Celebrating those who have delivered remarkable performances at track meets.

 

**Continuous Hard Work**

Acknowledging those who consistently put in the effort to improve their skills and fitness.

 

**Outstanding Character**

Recognizing those who demonstrate integrity, sportsmanship, and exemplary behavior.

 

**Commitment to the Team**

Honoring those who make significant sacrifices and show unwavering dedication to their teammates and the program.

 

**Practice Excellence**

Recognizing those with top performances in workouts, "Get Fast" timed sprints and other practice or teambuilding activities.

 

**Being a Great Teammate**

Highlighting those who put the team first by cheering on their teammates and helping their teammates whenever possible. Setting up, cleaning up or working at home track meets as well as setting up and cleaning up team camps by taking the lead or being the first follower when someone else initiates.

 

**Community and Classroom Impact**

Highlighting moments when classroom teachers or other school staff, opposing coaches or athletes, or fans and community members inform us about the great things our athletes and coaches are doing.

 

Each selected athlete and/or coach will be recognized at practice in front of their peers and celebrated on our social media platforms, ensuring their achievements are acknowledged and celebrated by the entire Stevens High School community. Join us in celebrating the remarkable efforts and accomplishments of our Raiders as they continue to strive for greatness.
