(Track & Field Clinic and Meet for Elementary kids)

 

at Sioux Park in Rapid City on Wednesday – April 22, 2026

 

 

TRACK & FIELD CLINIC:

* The Stevens Raiders Track & Field team will be hosting a Track and Field clinic for elementary kids in the Black Hills area. Learn some basic techniques in running, jumping, throwing, relays and much, much more.

 

After the clinic there will be a track meet for all the kids in the clinic. There will be no official times, places or awards for the meet.

 

 

REGISTRATION DEADLINES & PRICES:

THE COST IS $25 IF REGISTERED BEFORE APRIL 10. ($30 AFTER) (plus transaction fee)

LIMITED TO THE FIRST 25 KIDS IN EACH GRADE

FRIENDS & FAMILY DISCOUNT IS $5 OFF FOR EACH KID REGISTERED IN A GROUP OF 3-10

 

TRACKFEST SCHEDULE FOR WEDNESDAY APRIL 22

* 4:00pm - Check in near the press box/ticket booth

* 4:30pm - Track & Field Clinic begins on the infield  

* 5:30pm - Track Meet begins (see order of events below)

* 6:00pm - Track Meet concludes(approximately)

   * NOTE - IF INCLEMENT WEATHER WE WILL POSTPONE IT TO A LATER DATE. WE WILL TRY TO FIND THE NICEST DAY THAT FITS OUR PRACTICE/MEET SCHEDULE. An email will be sent out to the email address that was used when registering for this event.

* 75 Meter Hurdles (Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade)

* 100 Meter Dash (Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade)

* 200 Meter Dash (Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade)

* 400 Meter Dash (Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade)
